Have you seen our Head Recreational coach Nyah around the gym before?

"Hi DGA, my name is Nyah Boag and you have probably seen me around over the past two years. I was born in Canada and moved to New Zealand in 2023. I have been involved in gymnastics pretty much my whole life in some shape or form. I started coaching at 13 years old at a club in Canada where I worked my way up from a volunteer to assistant coach to official coach.

I had a major gymanstics injury in 2019 which caused me to have to stop gymnastics but my love for the sport never stopped and I have such a strong passion for coaching. I am now the new Head of Recreation here at DGA and I love it! Seeing young athletes acheiving new skills and learn something new when they come to class each week is what makes me want to come to the gym everyday. I am excited to continue my journey here at DGA!"
